Plan French Fries
Ingredients
- Fresh Organic Potatoes (sweet or white)
- Cooking spray (I use Virgin, Cold-pressed Olive Oil)
- Sea Salt (Optional)
- Clean and dry the number of potatoes you wish to use (I use a one potato per person rule)
- Slice potatoes into desired shape. I like steak fries myself. Whether you cut them into slices or chips, leave the skins on to get all the nutrients.
- Spray cookie sheet with Olive Oil.
- Place on cookie sheet and spray one side with cooking oil.
- Bake at 425 degrees for 7 to 8 minutes, turn, spray potatoes with oil, and bake another 7 to 8 minutes (for thinner slices cut the baking time back)
- Sprinkle with sea salt and serve.
For this version I follow the directions above except I add the spices to the potatoes after I apply the Olive Oil (Step 4).
Spice Mixture
- 1 teaspoon of Sea Salt (Optional)
- 2 teaspoons of Onion Powder
- 3/4 teaspoon of Garlic Powder
Play around with the amount of spices you use to suit your taste.
